Potassium chloride (KCl) is the most commonly used source of potash, composed of approximately 52% of potassium (“K”) and 47% of Chloride (Cl⁻), representing 60% of K₂O. In 2022, the KCl reached its highest price compared to the last years. On September 05, 2022, the average KCl CFR price delivered to the Brazilian ports was US$775, as reported by Acerto Limited, a market intelligence firm.
